16th Annual Awards Breakfast
The Downtown Henderson Project is pleased to announce the 16th Annual Awards Breakfast will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010. The breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at the corner of 3rd and Green Streets. Bob Park will be the MC for the event.
Judy Clabes will be the keynote speaker. Judy is the past president and CEO of the Scripps Howard Foundation. She is the founder and president of the Kentucky Philanthropy Initiative and serves as chair of the Kentucky Commission on Philanthropy.
This event will be an opportunity to again honor individuals and organizations that have worked diligently and successfully for the growth and development of Downtown Henderson. Several awards will be presented including the "Heart of Henderson" Award, as well as, the Design Awards will be presented at the breakfast. The DHP Board members will be greeeters.
Entertainment for the breakfast will be Matt Vanover and Jessica Treberg. The breakfast will be prepared by the FUMC Relay for Life Team. A portion fo the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Relay for Life.
Big Rivers Electric Corporation/Kenergy, Brenntag, Methodist Hospital, Ohio Valley Financial Group/The Preston Family Foundation, The Bank of Henderson, The Color Connection and the Henderson YMCA are sponsoring the breakfast.
