The Farmers Market Kickoff Day in Downtown Henderson is June 25, at the corner of Second and Main Street. The Farmers Market, will be open regular hours on June 25, but the following events will take place from 10 am to noon and is completely free to the public.
Trucks & Tractors – Farm tractors, farm trucks and implements of all shapes and sizes will be on display in the large parking lot just north of the Farmers Market for families to explore.
Hayrides - Jim Smith of Independence Bank will be on hand to give hayrides around downtown for kids and parents.

Plein air paint out for kids! Show off your artistic skills by participating in an agriculture-themed painting contest from 10:00am to noon on Saturday, June 25 at the Downtown Farmers Market.
It’s Free!! Bring your own materials, spend two hours painting your own ag-themed creation, and you could win a $25 gift certificate! No registration required. just show up at 10:00 am and start painting. Kids 17 years old and under are eligible.
Door Prizes – Farmers Market patrons can put their names in for door prize drawings.
Live Music – Local musician Andy Norvel and Henderson Area Arts Alliance Director Kyle Arnett will team to perform live from a spot inside the Farmers Market.
Food – In addition to the great produce available from Farmers Market vendors, Jeff King will have his slow – cooker on hand and sell barbecue sandwiches and other delicacies.
