Christmas in the Park
The 26th Annual Christmas in the Park Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held in Central Park on Friday, December 2nd at 6:00pm.
Mayor Steve Austin and Judge Hugh McCormick will welcome the community with musical performances by local church choirs.

Henderson Merchants’ Annual Christmas Parade
Henderson Merchants’ Annual Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 starting promptly at 10:00am. The parade is sponsored by the Henderson Shrine Club and is supported through donations of the Henderson City and County Merchants.
If you are unable to come to the parade the Downtown Henderson Project simulcast a live video feed of the parade from this website. Be sure to tell your out-of-town friends and family about this innovative web cast. Tune into www.DowntownHenderson.org/live to see the parade live from the comfort of your desktop, notebook or your mobile device.
The parade route will start at Fifth and Main Streets travel south on Main to Washington, East on Washington to Elm, then North on Elm back to Fifth where the parade will end. The approximate length of the parade is one mile.
To participate in the Christmas Parade you will need to fill out questionnaire or contact Ethan Evans, Parade Chairman at 270.830.0105 or email otis69@hotmail.com.
Please respond no later than November 23, 2011. Unfortunately, late entries will not be accepted this year.
