The Downtown Henderson Project is planning the annual “Trick or Treating” for Friday, October 29, 2010 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. It’s that time of year again when downtown Henderson is invaded by tiny ghosts & goblins, dinosaurs & dragons, fairies & princes, and super heroes of every size trick or treating in the downtown business district.
The annual Employee Costume Contest and judging will take place the morning of October 29th. Businesses are encouraged to enter. Maybe your business will be the winner of the Best Overall Business “Traveling Trophy”! Call the DHP at 270.827.0016 by October 28th to enter.
We encourage everyone to join the Halloween Parade that follows Trick or Treating. The parade line-up begins at 4:45pm in the Big Rivers Parking lot located at Main and 3rd Streets. The D.A.R.E. car, HCHS Band, and City Fire Department firetruck will be part of our parade. We would love to have all the ghosts & goblins, fairies & princes, and super heroes join the parade as great way to wrap up the Halloween festivities in downtown.
